I want to make an Anagram - could you do it for me?
You know, I'd love to - but sorry, no, I have to refuse all such requests. I have a full time job and spend the rest of my time developing and running this website so that millions of users can make anagrams for themselves. Now if I was to offer to make anagrams for everyone, why would I need to bother running the website? My efforts are best placed running the anagram engine and leaving you to have fun experimenting with anagrams
I am playing scrabble and have a blank. Is there a wild card option?

At the moment such an option doesn't exist because it would place a much greater load on the server (26 times in fact!) to check all the options for a blank. However, it is under consideration as a future feature.
Is it possible to get a copy of the master list of words made from a given word?

yes. Just enter your word as normal. Make sure you set "shortest word size" to 1. Thenclick "start search". The list of all words will appear in the text box towards the left of the results page. If you want to cut and paste this list choose "print word list" - this will open another page with just the words on it.
I'd like to anagram a long phrase (36 characters, not counting blanks) and your engine won't quite let me. Any chance of expanding the limit?

If you have a special requirement for longer anagrams, please email me directly via the site feedback form. The default limit is in place to prevent "hogging" the server CPU.
I am interested in the Engine itself. I am working on a project that involves word puzzles and am looking for libraries/algorithms to use.
Did you write the code? Can it be shared or licensed? I do not plan to use it on a web site.
