Adrien is right about the strawberries; this is a Great season.I'm picking my own bed every two days.Nice sweet berries; but I don't have enough to sell, so go to Adriens ! Looks to be an excelent apple year too. My trees limbs are bending under the weight of the green apples already. So enjoy! Cal P.
Yankee Native, Apples were looking great until we got hail for the second year in a row after never getting it for over 35 years, what are the odds, now i'm out about 1/2 my good apples AGAIN.
Guys all over New York, Vermont and western Mass got bad hail the last few days, some of them are completely gone 100% loss, sauce on the trees, ours will be ugly but sell-able. Everybody in Hollis got hail, hundreads of acres of apples, some 1 day, some the other day, and some both days.
Nobody ever said farming was easy!
And complaining about it never seems to fix it!
Think Salmon and it feels better, but if you start thinking Tuna sometimes you run into a peach tree, me and dad know this from experience LOL!!!
