Robbie caught the biggest fish on the Peggy "C". This fish (laker) was 30" (while it was in the water) It put up a great fight. Caught it on a top gun wonder bread 10" behind the ball over copper and red blades in 25' water. By some sort of miracle the fish was only 24" when measured and weighed 5#. Bluefin kept it for Sunday dinner. For some reason when we measured the fish again it was 22" and weighed 4#, but it was still the biggest fish of the day. I'm sending some pics to Gus and perhaps he we post them here.

Thats odd Salty, most fish we catch seem to get bigger rather than small as we repeativly wiegh and measure them.
Especially over the winter, the previous summers fish that others have caught on my boat seem to grow alot LOL
Some explaining is necessary here. I dont remember if it was Jack or Steve that measured and weighed the laker, but it measured 25 inches and weighed 5 pounds.
Later, Salty measured and weighed this same fish.
I noticed that the ruler he was using didnt have any numbers on it, and when he weighed it---he had his other hand lifting up on the fishes tail. This is what caused the difference in the before and after numbers
I was warned (I think by Cal) that you really have to watch Salty. I didnt believe him then, but now???
That girl at the next table doesn't look like she's sure of what to think of you fishy old men! Hahaha. Good to see you all out there. 32 more years and I'll join the club.
