Roof rafta,Hammer and myself launched in great bay and flew out to 2-KR and found 2-things!!!!!Tons and Tons of macks and some serious serious waves 3 to 4 seas. Boat did fine but what was ahead was something none of us expected!!!! Roofy put ton of macks in the well before I was able to untangle Hammers rig THEY WERE EVERYWHERE AND FUN!!! Hit the river and did countless countless Drifts on incoming and outgoing tides with nothing yes nothing!! We did not see one person with a fish on from the mouth of the river to great bay marina. Talked to some people at the launch and they had the same results. We lost all kinds of tackle due to the tackle hungry river. But we laughed it all off with at least a fun boat ride and Bait fishing. I was thinking of running to the merrimack and join in on the boat Zoo but had a bad feeling about that thought.[GOOD THING!!]I hate like heck to report that we got skunked but its a post That needs to be told when it happens. Talked to the famous touchless adrien last night and he informed me of his ordeal with mother nature, [Good thing friends were near by to help out] I filled him in on mine when he had enough of me and hung up. O.K. LET THE WISE CRACKS BEGIN!!
I hear they're catching them pretty good after dark near Pease. Haven't heard many reports of big numbers above the Merrimack this week, though. People are saying they're still seeing tons of bait, but not many stripeys working them.
