Coolwater, We heard you on the pond today. You were having more success than we were down by black point. Boy, lots of tiny salmon. Any tips on removing these tiny salmon from treble hooks meant for their much bigger relatives. These little guys don't even set the release off and sometimes barely register on lead core with 4 or 5 colors out. Last year I remember runts being around 12". Let me know if you have any tips on getting this mini mites back in the water safely.
Rubber net a must scoop them out and as gently as possible remove the hook! The rubber net will calm them down and they wont freak out as bad. All we can do is our best some will not make it!
