Re: WHAT DO ARTISTS EAT! GREAT RECIPES FROM GREAT ARTISTS

Ok...I'll be the first...

Pam's Hotflash (Chilli)

2 lbs Cubed London Broil or Sirloin Steak
1 can of beer
1 can of whole tomatoes(juices drained)
2 can of Joan of Arch spicy chili beans
2 packs of McCormick Hot Chili Mix
1 cap full of hickory smoke flavoring
1 pinch of ground jalapeno pepper powder
lots of garlic both fresh and powder
2 shakes of meat tenderizer
1/2 stick of butter
(optional if you like you can add a dash of cinnimon and skip the jala. powder to bring the heat down)

Grab a big pot and add butter, garlic, meat tenderizer and steak..grill a bit till seared on the outside. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer in the pot for atleast an hour..stirring frequently. Or through it in the crook pot with the other ingredients and leave it all day..

Pam,
that sounds like excellent comfort food of the gods!
I will have to make this for my family. I'll let you know how I do.

Here is quick tip for sausage

if you grows herbs you must grow rosemary it is awesome

if you take some fresh rosemary and put it in store bought breakfast sausage it takes it over the top in flavor.
