Yes I am new but we are about to undertake a huge stucco project on our new home and I want to be as educated as possible...
We have numerous wood beams over the windows and as a pattern on the home...(Tudor like) The inside of these wood frames will have stucco or brick. I am trying to determine if every piece of wood needs to be flashed on all sides or is there a better or different way. I do not like the look of thin wood trim being put on after the stucco but I did wonder if putting the wood on after the scratch cote and before the final coat would be a possibility? Any info you wish to share would be appreciated...Again, I'm new so go easy! |
