Pelicarno 0-1 Dunkirk
Typical local derby,cracking game,both teams' defences stedfast and secure. 7 players out supposedly.whoever they are!!R.Mellon wanting to stay at work and earn £120 p.e teaching,or whatever!so cocky slotting into sweeper with the skip.(sounds a gay-3way thing!!)DFC starting crap,giving Pelicarno too much respect then starting to think"maybe we CAN win this."and started to get stuck in a bit.all chances thwarted by ex-boatman Lee(i might be 30,tommy toe bonk and a chocolate knee but i know the game)Bock's defence.And when they were penetrated(oo-er....mrs)ex-boatman stanno was there to save the day(even off his own dodgy touch!!i blame the pass back stanno!)but evo couldnt capitalise and Stanno made a good save. Pelicarno had 2 chances,one i pushed away from sadler,the other ex-boatman alan jefferies had the ball in the net but was deemed to be offside. Furse finest then rattled the crossbar from 0.4 yards from a pin point cross from Neil"beat up by 3 teenagers"thompson. H/T 0-0. Cyrus"the virus"is in for throw-in practice(dont let your inner arms stick to your ears!and keep your feet on the floor!!Step and release!) Big Jack came off the bench to replace tyrone and from a exquisite cross from a tommo free-kick Big Jack looped a header over stanno with his 3rd touch!!! Mark Harbottle came out of retirement and slipped his bowling shoes on again to make another apperance for DFC. Ex-boatman Andy"You know its coming but you cant do f**k all about it"Frawley was tied up in the corner with 2 boatmen but managed to pull out a cracking cross onto Chris Henson's head but i tipped it over. DFC held out for a 1-0 victory,even though i thought a draw was a fair result. MOM-Ben moore.he tidyed up the loose bits cocky and skipper missed.but what was the sound he made when taking a throw....www-heeeerrr!!!WHATS THAT ABOUT BENNY BOY? |

is the rumour true that ben moore may have a trial for forest. i seen him play satday n he was outstanding. he's a player for the future if the boatmen manage to hang on to him. |

I'm guessing Ben was the left back as he was outstanding on sat, he made the game look very easy, hopefully he'll either be rested or have a nightmare on tues |

from what i know ben does have trials for foest and yes i believe ben is capable of it so good uck ben and all the best from us but dnt forget hu got u there me and dave hu beleived in u and please mention this satday hu ever see's this cuz he deserves it!! |

i think ull find that it was down to me and tony,we got him back at the club after he went to winning post,then we gave him the chance to play out,not in goal for us,we brought him on,then kept telling u and david about givin him a chance,we kept telling u he ll do alrite 4 u after u had ur doubts about him.so dont try and teake all the credit 4 him u tithead leave danny alone dale,he nos how to work a computer now,so be warned |
