clippo away 2-1 1/2
with it all 2 do in the 2nd leg and a thread bare squad things didnt get off to the best start when we met at the ram and dave forgot 2 pick quinny up so back in2 town malc went 2 fetch our mid hero.things were that bad as i got named as a sub(we cud ave been looking at my 5th match in 11 days,not gud 4 a 35 yr old fat frigger with the fitness level of the lurpak man in a greenhouse and cud ave been witness to my death if i had gone on)neway alien foot darren only really had 1 save 2 make,cidy showed his true potential with a gud performance against 2 experienced cfs(woody and shorty),ben was sulkin after denzil shouted at him,but did get a megs in which counts for 1/2 a goal(is he turnin in2 the nxt lee rutter??)joeleon lescott was his reliable self,not getting injured once in the whole 90 mins,clint lasted 15 mins but wot a 15 mins mangin 2 set clippos goals up b4 goin off with a twisted sock or summat(only kiddin rhythm)cockmeister did plenty of running in mid b4 slottin in2 def 4 clinton and again looked the best sweeper the club have got since ian lowe and chris murdock???.quinny?its quicker to put quinny was quinny still carnt believe theres not 1 team or player that have worked out a way 2 stop this phenom although we did nearly ave another rodney king incident on our hands which rightly resulted in the clippo fullback being sent off(did himself a favor i think,cause yng tez,(who??? i hear u ask!more on him later)was causin no end of probs)the baby faced assasin played despite being only 70% fit and did ok once he realised we were in red and stopped being glenn hoddle,picked up his gamely booking.blanc worked tirelessly alnite without really ne joy,scott'chocolate hamstring'pratt lasted 30 mins b4 his leg started 2 melt again.mich'the hammer'evo tried hard and poached his usual 6 yard finish to give us some credit.tywoo came on 4 choclate and showed he wanted 2 play and worked tremondously and shud ave ad 2 goals,...and finally the unearthed gem,terry or troy if ur names scott pratt,got called up at 17.40 and came on 2 make his debut with 15 mins gone..and wot a debut,fearless,skilful a game little frigger wasnt overawed and in the 2nd half absolutely destroyed clippos lb b4 he got sent off,(not tez)and seemed to bring dunkirk alive 4 the 2nd half cud ave even capped it off with a goal but was offside..this lad has a great future ,hopefully with dunkirk and to quote sum managers last nite"he will be a helluva player wen he reaches puberty"...and the last sub...carnt believe david didnt put me on,i no i cud ave won it for them..but when uve lifted the trophy once and got 2 winners medals from the comp b4...let sum1 else ave a try... |
