House to rent Koh Phangan?
Sawatdee I am looking for a house to rent at the end of this year . I was told last time I was in Phangan that it's possible to rent a house for approx. B7000 a month. I'd be grateful for info on this. Thx.

The last time that I was there,We went exploring in the middle of the island.We tryed to walk from Ban Kai to bottle beach(Never made it,Its a bloody long way)But there were a numerous houses for rent.They were all different sizes ,locations, cost ect ect But there were ample vacant propertys there. It may be a bit more difficuly if you want something on the beach,But the best thing to do ,would to go there ,book into a bungalow then go and find something what is suitable for your needs |

depends where you want to stay really and for how long, but i would reckon you'll get somewhere decent for 7k. i used to have a really great place in the jungle, but that was 9k though it had three bedrooms, huge kitchen and sala and on three levels. mind you, that was before the tsunami made every bugger upsticks in phuket and head for the east coast, so there will not be as much available now... |

The cheapest I've seen a house for is 4000 bhat a month but well basic!!! |

I also used PhanganIsland.com, I got a quite good package price for a house near the beach and motorbike for just 6500 Baht. Thanks for the information. |
