sightseeing
I am going to be in Koh Pangan for the whole of February and was hoping to do all the sightseeing I missed last time!! Not bothered about the full moon party but if anyone could suggest any other activities it would be much appreciated. Also can anyone recommend a cheap, safe dive school? |

hi ! dont think there is too much too see on koh phangan . some nice beaches , 2 waterfalls ( near chaloklum and near tan sadet). some shopping in tongsala. but when you stay near haad rin or tongsala you can take a boat trip to koh samui , which is also quite nice. i advice you to hop around on the island. check out the beaches of chalokum , bottle beach tong nai pan , tan sadet and haad rin. you can rent a bike for 4 us$ /DAY and move around the island. spoke to a lot of pepole attending different dive schools on kpg and all were pretty satisfied with them. for good diving i personally would go to koh tao, 70 km north of kpg. everybody is diving there and the underwater scenery is much better than near koh phangan. have fun bob |
