Accommodations
Roughed it last time, looking to stay somewhere nice this time. I've narrowed it down to the Drop Inn Club or Phangan Buri. Any advice on which to choose? Thanks. |

hi ! dont know the places but i like the location of phangan buri , because its directly located at the sunset beach, while drop inn club is a few hundred meters away from it. i personally prefer to rough it. you can also get quite nice AC bungalows directly at the beaches of haad rin. i think this is MUCH cheaper and more kpg style !! if i want to go luxury i would go to the resorts on leela beach ( 5 min walk from haad rin center) , which are really great! and are directly at a good swimmng beach !! for example see http://202.142.222.138/sarikantang.com/ Have fun bob |

I've stayed at both in the last year, (not my choice) nice hotels but l prefer to get a nice place right on the beach, if you want to be in Had Rin try Tommies or www.phanganbayshore.com bugallows right on the beach and plenty of bars near by. PB has the nicest pools but I dont think much of the sunset beach and it's not a very easy walk to sunrise beach. I'm heading down there for Songkran but staying at Had Yao this time for a change. |
