coffee:to drink or not to drink

I use to be a coffee drinker, an occasional pop drinker. Since the panic attacks I have cut all these products out because I found I was more prone to panic. Sometimes I cheat and have a swig or two of my husband's cup and I do enjoy a square of dark chocolate once and awhile because they say that's good for those who are more on the depressed side. Is there anybody else like this?

Judy,
Chocolate does help depression if you don't outweigh the cocoa benefits with too much sugar!! And yes, I know what you mean about coffee. I can become very anxious and/or manic after drinking super strong coffee or more than a cup of my version (pretty weak w/milk). It's a stimulant so it aggravates nerves already vulnerable or tensed.
Lots of sodas, same thing - especially Coke and Mountain Dew . . .
Love them all though!! I'm trying so hard to get away from all my food loves because I am literally killing myself with them.

Re: coffee:to drink or not to drink

HI Everyone,
When you are having panic attacks on a regular basis I'd be pretty sure that I would be caffine sensitive. It was a long time before I would try even decafe! Same with the sodas. It was buzz city!!!
I'm blessed to be able to give a praise report on this. Since I've been better I've been trying a cup of weak coffe evey now and then. I love coffe!!
But thank God I am able to still enjoy it.
Makes me nervous just thinking about it. lol
Bye kiddos
