You are right that mistakes can actually become a blessing if you look at your mistakes from an angle of corrective purpose especially from God. I was once there. I used to have hot temper and at the same time too emotional. My hot temper made me hit a woman I loved so much. I was wrong because I couldn't control my emotions and made irrational decisions. At the end of the day, I ended up hitting her badly and that ended a 1 year & 6 months relationship. She called it quits. It shattered me badly because I was really in love with her. But God wanted me to loose her in order to learn and gain latter & better if I choose to be smart. God also wanted me to loose my temper; to be more caring, loving & to come out from the wallowing pit of infatuation. God made me to love again but this time, I am more matured and I have met a better woman. I also used to make decisions out of emotions. In this case, I used to trust people too much and I have had so many failures due to this. But now, all my previous mistakes have taught me and I am now a better man. My mistakes have turned to blessings for me not in disguise but in reality. Mistakes are necessary for improvement, for chastisement. Without mistakes, we can’t grow. When we make mistakes, we go down. At that depth, we are left to make a decision if to come up or remain down. If you can fight your way up, then you are like Apostle Paul said: More than Conquerors. But if you remain down, then you will never know what God has in stock for you. You have decided to accept defeat. It is a choice. It is our humble but bold prayer to God, Our heavenly Father that our mistakes make us better men. Thank you for sharing this page with people. God bless you as you write more. |
