Thank you

A sincere thank you to Commanding Officer Forrest Woodward for putting together this forum. This will allow parents to discuss upcoming events and involvement in a broader sense.

Re: WELCOME

I have just posted a link to the parent's page on the main page of the Division Web site so you can more easily navigate directly to your page and quicly access this forum. Tamara requested a link from the main page and presto, it happened; its that easy. Talk to me!!

Re: WELCOME

thank you for this page. I had so many questions about uniforms and proper placement of badges and what the cadets needed for bootcamp as staff members. This is an excellent idea for those of us who went through it to help new parents with some of the same concerns.

Re: WELCOME

For those of you who think this is a good idea, you should know that this came about through conversations and suggestions made at the parent's working group. Without parental invovlement, this would not have happened, as quite frankly, I had not thought of this. The cadets have their forum but I had not considered one for the parents. This is a good reason why more of you should participate in the Parent's Working Group.

Re: WELCOME

My son and I recently attended orientation with my son remaining for the rest of the drill. He has decided to join and has had a physical and all the necesary paperwork has been completed. I was told to send the paperwork to Lt.Joy Aimetti. Do I need to send a check to her? Do I need to wait for a response before he can attend or does he come to the next drill and if so what time? Does he need to bring anything besides lunch or lunch money? Please help me. Thank you in advance for your help. Linda Blackler

Re: WELCOME

ATTENTION PARENTS:

If you have a question or statement that is new and not in response to an already posted question, please make a new entry so that it does not get lost in some unrelated string. You will see that new strings (topic) are on top as a "new" listing. Those existing posting strings that have a new response will also have a "new" flag nest to the topic. This way all other parents and the parent's coordinator can see the new listing and respond appropriately. Unfortunately, if you post something about how a uniform is worn under the topic of "Welcome" your question will not be readily visible and might get lost. Use a specific issue in the subject line of your new posting such as "How to iron and fold the white uniform." Anyone wishing to reply to or add to that topic, can clikc on the "reply" link and post their comments in the same category. This is called a string, which can continue until the question is answered or possibly for ever.

If you need more information about your original posting re-enter this string and post the related question or comment. If you have new questions please start a new string with the topic posted in the "Subject" block. This way, you can engage in an exchange of information and start "networking"

Pleses use this forum to get to know each other.

Respectfully,
Forrest Woodward
Commanding Officer
