Simon
Hi there. I can confirm the news that unfortunately Simon has had to quit the band for the foreseeable future. Circumstances, not least the recent passing of his mother has led to this hard decision. All his friends in the band and at Jungle are very sad about this news but we also realise this is the best move for him and hasn’t been an easy decision to make. I myself have worked closely with Simon for over 10years from playing together in Sensorium. Simon was a founder member of NFD and has put his heart and soul into the band from day one. I know this band was very special to him for many reasons. One of these was because instead of playing for another artist it was something we had created our selves and every time we looked at CD on the shelves in a store or stood on the stage at a festival it was down to the hard work we had put in. It is impossible to say whether or not this is the end of Simon’s involvement with NFD. The doors are certainly not closed and we remain close friends. So as to the future of the band. We are of course continuing to forge into the future. We are currently looking for a new drummer, not a replacement, as this is impossible. We have a few in mind and if anyone would like to get in contact with regards to this then they can contact us at nfdenquiries@hotmail.co.uk So let it end… So let it begin… Bob |

What bad bad news! We are so sorry to hear this about your Mom, Simon! Our thoughts are with you! Take a break if you need it. It is surely a good decision for you. But we will miss you and hope to have you back one day!!! hugs Jani & Pete @ Bob: Thank you for informing us and for finding so nice words! You know that we are big fans of you and that it hurts us too when reading that you don't play together anymore! We hope this is not for ever! |

Simon left the band because he's had enough of it. The other guitarist (Chris) is working on other projects. The rest of the band are allowed little musical creativity. The lead singer is a lazy ******* who won't get a proper job and hasn't worked for years. NFD are dead in the water. |

@ xgoth: Oops…have you had a bad day or what? The only thing you are right in is the fact that they all are veeery creative. They work in different projects and I doubt that this a bad thing. NFD will go on further… Nice new album to come on the 28th of april. So I really can’t see what’s your problem is. |
