Could someone please explain how "Amy" or "concerned parent" has "attacked" the ICTA? Why would "Katia" and "tennis pro" refer to them as "wolves" and "cowards?" Why are they referred to as "liars?" It's puzzling to me why "Katia" would threaten to have her father who will "pay much to find this gutless wolf attacking " her coach. I have read and reread and read again what "Amy" and "Concerned Parent" have written and I don't see any "attacks" or name calling....but, there is alot of that kind of implications and wording in "Katia's" and "tennis pro's" messages. Why is "Katia" and "tennis pro" so hostile....it's rather disturbing....and even a little "scary." It seems to me that God has planted two ministries in Florida with the potential of doing a great work for the Kingdom of God while at the same time helping juniors and aspiring pros become the best God made them to be. What would TRULY be a testimony to the love of Christ is for these ministries to join together in mutual commitment and support. They could each become stronger and more influential together. The ICTA could certainly learn from the Complete Player Institute in how they are not "secretive" about anything and don't accuse those who have questions about their work and ministry as being "wolves" or "liars" or "cowards" etc. I'm sure that there are perspectives and ideas that the Complete Player Institute could implement in their organizational structure and outreach as well that could be gleaned from association with the ICTA. It's great that Katia has "found God in the ICTA, but someone from there should respond to these "weird" and "strange" responses that have been posted on the message board.....Rev. Kraft, what's your perspective on all of this? --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to:

--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to: I am interested in the ICTA. I have two boys who have begun competing in junior tournaments and take lessons currently with the club pro. It's truly a great option for Christian families to have an academy interested in helping develop the spiritual and physical needs of atheletes. However, I am concerned that there is no physical address for the facility nor recommendations by any reputable Christian leaders. My husband and I do not want our children to be influenced by anyone who does not have the endorsement by someone we can contact for reference. Is this Academy recognized by any reputable ministry. Why is Scott Paschal's picture and the actual location of this academy not revealed. Is there anyone we can contact who can verify that Scott Paschal is who he says he is. In this day and age we cannot just assume that someone is a Christian just because they say they are. If my kids go to any academy or camp, I need to know that they are going to be safe and their Christian faith not compromised. I hate to think of the posssibility, but if parents don't first question and investigate the integrity of ones they entrust their children to influence,it could have devastating consequences. |
