A couple of important facts about Cursillo in Crawford County:
1. A small but mighty and hardworking crew showed up for set-up. The social hall at St. Philip's has been transformed into a Cursillo facility. Everything is new to us, including the kitchen facility. We could use a lot of help and welcome anyone who'd like to join us cooking, serving and especially helping with the clean-up after the weekend. Many of our "long standing" kitchen crew are team members so we could really use some help in the kitchen.
2. The Erie Newsletter has directions to St. Philip's social hall from the south and east. The directions are correct, HOWEVER Rt. 285 has a major detour with a bridge replacement project. You have two options - get off at the Greenville exit on I-79 and go into Greenville and take Rt. 18 north. At the blinker light in Hartstown - go straight through the light and continue north on the Hartstown Rd. You'll go through the PGC Wildlife Mgmt area, cross the spillway (where the ducks walk on the fish) and St. Philip's hall will be on your right before you enter Linesville. The other option is to continue north on I-79, rather than getting off at the Geneva exit and get off in Meadville and follow the directions "from the north."
