Please keep Jerry Major in your prayers this week. We are asking that he is cared for and that God show him His love and caring in the best way right now.
Jerry was taken to UPMC Hamot last night from his home at the Soldiers and Sailors Home. Recently he's been having trouble eating and drinking, and they found he had a fever and pneumonia.
Doctors are treating him now and he's responsive and comfortable. There's certainly a chance for recovery, but he'll continue to be restricted to his wheelchair and have limited activity.
He made his Cursillo a few years ago, and worked some as well. This past year, we have brought him to a few events and he's enjoyed the love, fellowship (and food!) very much. He recently came to Sacred Heart and couldn't get enough of the lasagne!
