Re: Need Advice About Disclosure

I hope you have a lawyer.
I never thought my husband would hide anything but having found out that he has been lying for months I'm glad my lawyer is a tough one.
You should be getting full disclosure, copies of tax returns, social security statement, retirement information, bank statements from ALL accounts plus information concerning any company "perks" he is receiving.
Talk to your lawyer express your concern. Keep fighting for FULL disclosure.

Re: Need Advice About Disclosure

I do have a lawyer but she is an older lady and quite frankly she should be retired. So I have to do all the fighting for myself. My husband makes good money but claims he has no assets which is hogwash. Yeah its an uphill battle and I may never find his hidden assets but I will do what I can with the little money I have! Good luck to you :-))

Re: Need Advice About Disclosure

Jody: My ex accused me of hiding assets. I reminded him that my family had helped me pay for things and told him where the money went. He had been stashing away $200K for retirement for years, but told me. He also spent a lot at "gentlemen's clubs" and was donating $600/month to the church (I got the line item statement with both our names on it in the mail with the donations on it and he cut it to $75/month when he filed). I feel he was "dumping" money into the church to make it look like he had less, financially. You are entitled to FULL disclosure. Get everything in writing (like the bank statements) to prove your case. Ask your Lawyer.

Re: Need Advice About Disclosure

Yes...my attorney got an order and the bank supplied him with the statements.
