Hi all, I have been divorced five years now - have had a boyfriend for 3 years who does not live in. How to cope with living alone: I have the t.v. or radio on nearly all the time at home. I listen to music CDs in the car and I go places where there are people around, i.e., the beach and places where people walk. One of the things I found to be the hardest was living on one income instead of two, but I eventually figured it out - had to cut the OnStar, got rid of the DVR, kept the old car running, shopped around for a reasonably priced Handyman, went to the Food Pantry for a year until the alimony kicked in....sorry for getting off topic, hope this helps.
