Hi, I'm Martha and I have been going through hell with my husband. The house is in his name and he has been trying to put me out the home as if I was his tenant. What are my options with this.

Martha: See a Lawyer (see if you can get a free consultation). If you cannot afford to keep a Lawyer, get Legal Aid, see if there is anyone doing free legal work at the nearest Bar Association or ask for help at your nearest courthouse or Women's Services Center. If you have to leave, I would suggest getting a roommate, emergency spousal support, if needed, to help get you by or renting a room or finding a hotel room until you get more permanent housing or live with family temporarily. Who wants to live with someone like him? It makes me wonder why the house is in just his name and not both of yours, unless he bought it prior to the marriage or it was left to him by his family. This probably needs to go before a Judge.
