My husbands babys mama has always just given us receipts for daycare and we have reimbursed her half but I felt something wasn't right so we requested that we actually get an invoice from the provider and we would pay the provider(which happens to be her mother's daycare). She now refuses and states that a receipt is all needed and that we have done that for 8 years. Doesn't she have to provide a invoice by law. Note the receipt she has been giving us has either been computer generated or hand written.
Monica: I am thinking she wants to use the money she gets reimbursed for something other than Day Care. I don't blame you for wanting to give it to the provider directly. I would speak with the day care provider privately.
