I was denied a jointly signed Marital Settlement Agreement

What do you think about a party and their attorney being denied a jointly signed Marital Settlement Agreement ...and told an unclear, unsigned, unmemorialized oral transcript, in violation of the Statute of Frauds being to a former school teacher, or anyone in Florida. This right was denied to me and my attorney without even a hearing....for us to discuss why I needed one.

What is your opinion on this?

Janice: Judges sometimes won't accept things. My ex's Attorney wrote something up and it was "thrown out" by the Judge because it contained many errors.

I don't understand exactly what you mean, but my husband and I went to a "mediator" and that was all it took. We came to an agreement and I filed it with the court. It's my understand that Florida law REQUIRES you to go to mediation first...even before you can file.
