I am visiting my family with my 6 months old baby outside the USA right now. My husband hasn't check on us once in 2 months. He emailed recently me and we had an argument after which I offered to separate. He told me that he wouldn't talk to me till I get back into the USA by the end of the month or he will report me to the FBI for child abduction. I am scared that he filed for temporary custody while we were away. Can he get it considering I was a primary care giver? If yes based on what. He gave me a consent for the trip. Also, we lived in his parents apartment and I am not sure whether I legally can go back and live there as I was out of the country for 2 months. How can I ask his parents to give me a permission to live in the apartment without it looking like I am blackmailing them.
