Trying to be patient but he needs to move his crap out
Feeling really frustrated. In three days, we're supposed to tell the kids we're separating and that daddy leaves in another apartment close by, but he's done nothing to fix up the place or move his stuff out.
I've offered to pack his stuff up and move it there myself but he just says "he'll take care of it." He hasn't, and has had this apartment for over three weeks now.
I want things to go smoothly for the kids. I know they're going to want to see where their dad lives, and I want to feel like the house is mine...I want his stuff out!
I know this takes time just feeling frustrated.

mizjanet: I sympathize. It took my husband months to move his stuff out. He came with just his own vehicle and was too cheap to hire a moving van. Eight years later occasionally I still find some of his stuff and I mail it to him. My Lawyer helped with this. Talk to your Lawyer about this if you have one. Maybe your husband does not have the space for his stuff or does not/cannot pay for storage.
