Julie: I would contact a Family Lawyer for a consultation. Sometimes the first visit is free - as far as moving with yours/his child, that is a legal/custody issue which must be addressed. Other posters have indicated that they cannot move to far from their ex because of joint custody/visitation by the other. You can change your name after the divorce, though. I got divorced in 2009.
