I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in may 2016. I lost my job the same month. My husband of two horrible years abandoned myself and our two children. June 2016, we were evicted and we're now living with my mother in Texas. I know I'm not considered a resident of Texas until December, is there another way to file for divorce. I started the proceedings in the previous state but had the case dropped due to health issues. My ex wants my to help him file for divorce, I refuse to help. I want full custody, he has not sent a fine since we've been here. He's bought himself a new car, clothes/shoes and has an apartment. What can I do!!!!!!??????
