Hi, I'm going after child support payments, as we were unaware at the time of signing our separation agreement that we are unable to do that. Once a separation agreement is signed, can an ex go after 50/50 to avoid paying child support?
He should be pursuing 50% parenting rights because he's the child's father and really hope that's what he does. Its not about money...and its sad that you're thinking this way. You should encourage an equal and fair parenting arrangement for the well-being of your child. Children need both parents in their life.
Christina: The Child Support laws are pretty strict in most states. A Family Lawyer can help if you don't already have a Lawyer. Some parents will try to get full custody in order to avoid paying child support.
