I just read an article on pet custody in a divorce (https://nextphaselegal.com/blog/fighting-over-fido-custody-pets-divorce/) and it has me worried. My husband bought the dog so it sounds like he will end up getting custody. I'm just wondering if anyone has ever been awarded custody for a pet they didn't buy.
