So, I've been married to an abusive man for over 15 years and I've finally decided to get a divorce. Problem is, I have no money and no where to go. He's making living with him difficult as he doesn't want a divorce and tells me how much he loves me and misses me. We still live together. I'm so frustrated!! Both of us work full time but it's not enough to make ends meet as he is a slender and likes to spend on liquor and eating out and buying me small stuff which I don't ask for. I just really needed to vent to someone....

Lynn: It would be a good idea to speak with someone on the Domestic Violence Hotline or contact someone at a Women's Services Center. You could also open an account in your own name and put a little in each month for a divorce/emergency fund and/or see if there are any free/low cost legal services in your area.

Pick a fight, then call the police. Log a domestic violence case and start building your case to get him kicked out. You can get the house and some of his paycheck. He might not be able to make ends meet, but with part of his paycheck and yours, you sure could.
