I was reading your post and understand what you mean. My ex moved on also. He moved in with his girlfriend as soon as he told me about it. He never even filed for the divorce. I finally had to do it when I had the money. I have to go past their home during the day at my work, and see his vehicle there. I also feel like I can not move on. I also would like to have someone to just talk to and go for dinner with or to other activities. It is really difficult to do that in a small town when everyone knows you and your ex husband, and his new girlfriend. I don't go to bars either. I tried the dating sites and it was unsuccessful. I have not met anyone at church either. I go to events and places all of the time, but it gets old when you are alone. I do not know the answer to your question but wanted to tell you that I am in the same position. None of my friends seem to understand this and think I should be happy to be alone.
