Time to go back to work but had a great time while it lasted. Got there on Sat and it was to windy to go out on the lake. Sun wind 25 mph waves 5 to 6 ft nobody was out on the lake. Mon and Tues flat calm great 2 days in a row wow, used stink bait on a howie fly and it attracted every biting fly for 10 miles to my boat, all biting our legs and feet. Wed wind up to 10 mph waves 2 to 3 feet got out from 6am to 12 noon before rain storms started overhead. Wind up and it drove us back to shore for the afternoon. Thurs no wind but waves were 3 to 3.5 ft rollers close together not like the ocean far apart. Rough ride but we managed to fish all day, same tune on Fri but we pulled out at 12 noon to get ready for the trip home. That is one thing you can't count on is the weather it is what it is.
Results were largest Salmon 42in long 34lb 8oz and it took over 45 min to get it to the boat, to big to fit in the net so my son had to gil it into the boat, pictures to follow.
Largest Brown trout was only 21 in but what a football at 6lb 7oz we herd on the radio browns up to 10lb being taken.
What a great trip and if you want to try it go,you will have a time of your life.

There is a new owner and he is putting up new single log cabin units. Still in the old trailers for now more like hunting camp but everything you need.

Fished right out of Sodus Point. In the spring we launched right at Coast Guard station and fish browns right outside the the lighthouse. August we did Kings on charters. Fish mostly west of the lighthouse out around the barns. Not to deep. 200-250 feet of water.
