I called them and would you believe since my unit was there in December they have had 2 new software upgrades. Life goes too fast for me.

At any rate you can go to thier web site and go to dowloads and upgrades, scroll down to your unit and look for the newest up grade for mine, the LMS 337c it is, 1.8.0.

I don't have a clue how to do it but you download it onto the card that's in your unit (not the Navionics)
fortunately my son has been doing this stuff for a long time and knows how to download and load it onto the unit. I guess it's easy and your manual tells you how do it.

John all you have to do is give them a call. Have the serial # of your unit and they can tell you if you have to upgrade or not. if so they will send you the chips to do it with instructions. then you just send them back the chips. your right they treated me great so I too assume they treat everyone the same. I had to upgrade for the unit and the antenna they sent me both chips N/C
