The Community Outreach Group (COG), which in its current configuration was started by a G.R. from Men's Cursillo #161, will host their annual Clothing Distribution Party on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 10:00 a.m.—2:00 p.m. @ St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church @ West 22nd & Peach Streets, Erie.

A significant source of clothing has been leftover and/or significantly discounted items obtained from yard sales in our community. Stewards working in this ministry in the past have visited the yard sales, shared with the homeowner written information about the COG, and offered to relieve the homeowner of the burden of re-storing their clothing. Our patrons who visit our event are in need of an infusion of folks who are willing to carry out this important effort.

In addition, we are also looking for a coordinator (or coordinators) of the Toys Ministry who would be responsible for the following:
• Determine storage
• Determine how toys are gathered—from Churches, from yard sales, etc.
• Determine how toys are processed—cleaned, ensured safe
• Coordinate movement of toys from the storage site to the distribution site
