DeColores everyone, Since it has bee a wile side I posted anything and my husband does not do face book I thought I better get everyone up to date. I did have the surgery on the ovarian cancer and the vaginal cancer and both were removed along with the surrounding lymph nodes. The ovarian cancer was up against my bladder so when they took the cancer out they damaged the bladder ad had to repair it. That night I was feeling quite bloated and they decided the bladder had a clot ad removed it. The next day I was still bloated and very uncomfortable and after a CT scan with die they found that the opening between the bladder and the kidneys was crimped and not working. They ordered an emergency surgery and within an hour they were doing surgery to put a splint in the opening so the bladder and kidneys would drain which meant that I am now wearing a bladder bag. I was sent home on Feb 16 where I developed a real bad case of broncitious and have been fighting it ever since. Tomorrow I will be having my blood work done to see if my white blood cells are good to start chemo on March 9th. Pray that they are.I will be having 6 sessions of chemo and will be for the Ext 6 months with 3 weeks of chemo and one week off. Unfortunately I will loose my hair and just when I started getting it back from the C diff. I want to thank my Cursillo family for all the get well cards and cards of encouragement. They are helping me a lot cope with th dreaded disease. We will be staying with my son ad daughter in law in North Caroling a few more months until we see how the chemo goes. Hopefully I can have the injections transferred to Erie when the weather gets warmer in Erie. Thanks everyone for caring DeColores
