Thanks dear friends and family for your prayers and support.

Some of you I have already talked to, others maybe I have texted but I wanted to share the latest concerning Zachary. As I had indicated previously, our brave little guy now has been diagnosed with liver cancer, possibly metasticized to the lungs. He was not well enough to undergo further testing, so the oncologist is treating him for both. Since he was experiencing respiratory distress due to the pressure of the mass, he began a series of chemo
meds on Saturday. He did tolerate these.

Zacky is currently hospitalized at St. Joseph's in Tampa where he was for the first 8 months of his life.He is to be discharged as soon as a home health nursing agency has committed to service. As I indicated before, his nursing service was quite sporadic.He will now have a new agency.The plan will be that he will get out -pt chemo weekly on Mondays and return home. One of our biggest concerns is how he will do when the neutrophils drop--WBC drop. He is still positive for Pseudomonas which is common is vented patients. It took the insurance 3 months to approve tobramycin and he still harbors the infection. We are terrified about what will happen when the WBC drop. After 3-4 months of chemo, he will need surgery. We will address then whether it is safe to have locally. After surgery, Zacky will need another 3-4 months of chemo--so there is a long road for the little one.

Bridget and Cameron remain scared and heartbroken and need prayers also.
If there is a way to network for prayers even moreso, please do. We need some big time prayers for our little warrior.

(As he has begun to breathe a little easier, he is still smiling and playful--he is my hero).

Phil,
Please know I check website daily so I've been praying for little guy since I read it. I will pray even harder, as will Wendell that out Lord hold him and his loved ones in His arms and that Zachary will be healed and remain strong.

We continue to pray for Zachary - also, have sent a request to Deacon Tom McAraw to have the men at SCI Albion pray for Zachary and his family - they are the most powerful pray-ers we know! Zachary will be in good hands with their prayers.

Thanks to everyone offering prayers for baby Zachary. Zachary and family really appreciate all your prayers. I know in my heart that God must have something really special planned for this baby boy for all he has had to endure in his short life so far. It is times like this that the strength of our faith is tested. Zachary and family are 'hanging on by a thread' so all prayers for their continued strength are truly appreciated.
