Re: One Of The Hardest Questions

Quote: John Beckett
Hello, Phil. Thanks for the invite Something you are not
taking into consideration here with your "hard" question is WHY Jesus's death
and resurrection is able to save whomever is wise enough to believe in Him.

Originally, His coming was for the Jews, as was Promised to them by Almighty
Yahweh. When they wouldn't accept Him, the offer was given to the world. And
my answer to your question is: It's not about a PHYSICAL body being able to
save or not save the world, but rather ""WHO'S"" Physical Body we're talking
about here!
And we're talking about God Incarnate!! enough said,

Hello John and welcome to this new forum effort!! This type of enterprise works
better with more than one view point, so I Do appreciate your sharing.

But, John.. what you have given me, is just two more questions. The
question I asked, remains unanswered.

You said, "...my answer to your question is: It's not about a PHYSICAL body being able to
save or not save the world, but rather...."

But, John.. it IS... that is the focus of my question. John, I don't mean
to belittle 'your questions', but they are YOUR Questions. They are your
questions, not the one I asked.

My Question is this: " Is the death of a physical body, all it takes to pay for
all YOUR SINS, and the sins of the whole world?"

If we inadvertently divert the focus of my question, it will not get answered at
all..
Even though it may appear 'foolish' at first, I hope you will take a
little more time to consider this one.

But even if you don't, I thank you for adding to this board.

In order to keep various Topics separate, I have posted your question in
another thread.

Your Friend,
Phil

Re: One Of The Hardest Questions

to Gerard: you said that a non-Christian may have no
idea what I am talking about, but that is okay because
my answer is for Phil, who is a Christian. Thus, I am
not concerned about anyone else in this instance.

No cockiness intended

to Phil: you asked if the death of one person's PHYSICAL
Body can save the whole world. The answer is: Yes, but
on two conditions. First, if the body in question is
that of Jesus. Second, if the world in fact believes
that He actually died and rose again.

Dear John, please help me understand your answer above by sharing the reasons that these "two conditions" must be imposed upon it.

Thanks,
All replies appreciated.
