Re: Racism

I worry that a fear of discussion, either way can allow these sort of feelings to snowball.

Open debate is healthy as it can challenge, support and guide people. Unchallenged, many things can become all-powerful and make those in disagreement feel isolated.

I don't feel that there is any more traces or seams of racism in Ruislip or South Ruislip than anywhere else. In fact, almost certainly less so. Here, when blatant or perceived racism surfaces, it is challenged in an intelligent and balanced manner. Often the best way to attack and silence it. I worry more in parts of the world where those who wish to debate are branded, "Racist" and thus endeth the debate for everyone.

So, roll on the debate...
