An excellent example of non-debate and pushing the issue back into the shadows again. Accusing those who debate in a balanced and rational manner of racism is a method (perhaps unintentionally) of stopping discussion and allowing free-flow of idea and opinion. Unbalanced and irrational debaters are of course fair game for comment and possibly ridicule. That is the best weapon against true racism and racists, who do exist and are out there in everyones communities.

Embracing that we are all unique and very different is not racist. If we were all the same the "Equality Act 2010" would not have run to 239 pages and took only a few days shy of a year to make it into law from its first reading. Were these legislators wrong to discuss and notice the very real differences? We all do, every day.

Come on - let's have a debate...
