Whilst the Traffic Wardens in the High Street are, at times, over zealous in their jobs they are dealing with an awkward situation at this time due to the Veolia works which is moving through the High Street. It appears Veolia is doing it's best to get the works done as quickly as possible to minimise issues in the High Street but the downside has been the daily changing of the parking restrictions on the carriageway to prevent blockages. I have gone through the High Street several times of late in the evenings and been obstructed in the roadworks section by persons parking on parts of the carriageway clearly marked by cones and signage indicating that there has been a parking suspension.

If you park on a section that should be obviously left clear (i.e. opposite or near the roadworks) then don't whinge about a ticket!
