Interesting that during the consultation process they had feedback such as

"The area needs more leisure facilities and things to do in the evening
There is no cinema or bowling alley"

How old were the respondants?

Personally I have no objections to the site but have always wondered if street crime in the area has remained so low because the lack of (young) teen night life has acted as a disincentive for scumbags from elsewhere to roam our streets. By which i mean that most young people are generally decent people but the oportunistic street robbers are happy to travel if they have something else to keep them occupied.
