Good news for those who use the A40...
The M4 both ways from J1 to J3 has reopened to traffic. The 7.5 tonne maximum weight limit still applies though.
For a short time last night both the M4 and A4 were shut when the Shell garage at Gillette Corner in Hounslow was on fire.
If that happens during the Olympics we're going to be gridlocked every day throught the Olympics.
