Re: Waterloo East and Charing Cross Stations (and London Bridge)

Hi Phil,

From personal experience Waterloo East is connected to Waterlo Station by a footbridge. Takes about 8 minutes to get across to Waterloo and down the numerous escalators to the Bakerloo line from there.

Charing Cross Station has the edge by a couple of minutes to reach the Bakerloo line from there dependent on which platform your train stops in. But it'll take an extra few minutes to get across from Waterloo East as you've stated.

There's a lot of escaltors and walkways involved at London Bridge to reach the Jubilee Line also.

But worth considering, if you're without luggage etc, is that Southwark station on the Jubilee line is only a 7 or 8 minite walk from Waterloo East and the tubes are running later through the Olympics. It's a walk that takes you past the Old Vic theatre and along a road called The Cut.

Hope that helps.

John
