Great day on the water! The breeze helped keep us cool and it also got rid of all that pollen that was on the surface. Slow start but picked up about 8:30 am and was pretty much non stop until about 1:00. All fish but one came on riggers and were caught in 80+ fow down 24' to 30'. All fish caught on hardware with blue and red being the best color. Second was green and silver, and third rainbow color. Caught a lot of very acrobatic 3 yr. old Salmon, and a few 2 yr. olds.
Almost forgot! Blue fin and Sur reel (Jack and Steve) were fishing with me. Steve caught a BIG rainbow and released it to fight another day. Jack had a Salmon that jumped farther than any fish I'd ever seen. I swear it jumped over two dr rods right behind the boat. Finally got wrapped in a lead core line and got off, but what a fight! I also lost a good one that got wrapped after a long fight. I caught one that must have been four pounds. I thought we had it on video but it wasn't done right. (my fault) It was released to grow even bigger. God, do I love to fish! What a great day!
