Thinking about taking the wife and the boat to 1,000 Islands N.Y. area for mid summer fishing vacation. Never been there so looking for fishing info. etc. Thanx, Cal P.
Great place to go. I started going up there 4 years ago with my fishing buddie to a lake right over the Canadian Border. The Water is so clear in the St Lawrence.
I have never fished the river but from what I'm told from the locals the Pike fishing
in great. I have spent 42 summers on Lake Winni and that part of NY is just as nice
as NH. Check it out.
