Possibly my last fishing report of the season (though I hope not and am keeping the fingers Crossed)
Due to my upcoming double knee replacement surgery, this is more then likely going to be my last fishing report of the season from the Tubb.
The Tubb has once again provided us with a great season, Not one single skunk this season(Yup the luck is still working Throbbin Rods, and the Answer is NO you can't have it back LMAO), couple slow days but nothing less then 5 fish. Today we decided to head to Aziscohos lake for the first time in 2 years, as Lake Richardson has been producing a lot of smaller fish and the pleasure boaters/campers this weekend looked like Winni on a Bright Saturday afternoon. We ended up with 5 Salmon, 2 around 18" and the rest were little guys, all caught on leadcore at around 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 colors orange seemed to be the ticket today. We did have one come off the rigger when we released it. Then I caught my Biggest Fish of the season, I had 7 colors of lead out, and barely saw a fish strike it, I waited felt him hit again and set the hook. I fought this BEAST for all of 5 to 10 minutes, and then finally there it was at the side of the boat WOW my buddy Robert did a fine Job netting it, Thanks Rob I couldn't have gotten this one without you. I probably won't be on till weds, but I'm bringing the laptop to the hospital with me so I won't be completely bored when I am not doing Physical Therapy. Take Care God Bless everyone, and Tight Lines to you all. Peace out, LOL Dave Ohhhhhhhh yeah Heres a couple pictures of the Monster for you guys, He was caught as I said trolling at a speed of 2.3mph at 7 colors. ENJOY
This one is for Reference to show you all the Size of this BEAST

Thanks Fishrman, Hopefully if rehab goes the way I have it planned (a lot of will & determination to walk without pain for the first time in many years LOL) I'll possibly be ok (hopefully??????????) to make it to the fall gathering (end of season gathering) if they have it again this year. Take Care God Bless LOL DAve (who's actually pretty nervous today Ughhhh don't know why LOL as I've had numerous surgeries since 2004 Ughhhhhh)

Wow, you may need wrist surgery now after reeling in that beast! Good stuff. Good luck with the surgery and the rehab. Hang in there, stay positive, and get well soon!

Why both knees at once, ouch. My sister in law had both hips nsame day and she bounced back very quick, walking in 2 days and got kicked out of re-hab in 3 days. Hope you do as well. Good luck.

Hi Dave,
Good luck with the knees and remember Ice Ice Ice all you can stand to reduce the swelling so you won't have to wait 1 month to start rehab like me. This way you won't loose so much in your range of motion. It will be great to be pain free at last I know been there too.
Good Luck
Ernie & Ruth.
