Hi all,
I'm writing an article for the Union Leader for tomorrow's paper re: opening day of salmon/trout season and would love to hear from 1) anglers that are going out despite the snowstorm, or 2) anglers with comments about the weather or thoughts about the April 1 storm and how its ruining their day!
If you reply via post, it would be great to include your full name and town. Feel free to use my email too, lmulkern@roadrunner.com.
Deadline is 3-ish.
Thanks
Larissa - Union Leader correspondent
Hit the town docks in Merideth (early) take photos and interview some folks yourself, dress warm and wear rain gear, might be a nasty day, ha,ha.
Then next week you can visit the Powdermill Hatchery at Merrymeeting and watch F and G workin side by side with anglers doing the annual fin clipping of the small Salmon to be stocked next month. This is done to keep track of the age and year they are stocked, bring rain gear and lend a hand, great story for you.
