I have 2 brand new 8'6" starfire rods. I dont need them, and am looking to see if anyone on the site could use them. I have them listed on Craigslist for $60. I would also be willing to trade them if anyone has any 12 or 15# downrigger balls.
Let me know if you are interested. These still have the wrapping plastic on them, never used.
Just an FYI... those rods work perfect for king salmon on Ontario. That's what I use on downriggers when running the heavier lines (20lb) when the water-fleas are a problem.
They also work well for copper line trolling. We used my 7'6" (200' copper) and 8'6" (300'+ of copper) when fishing the Lake O tournaments a couple years ago.
I only say this, 'cause I'm sure you're gonna end up getting hooked on Lake O fishing.
If you can still fit that 4 wheeler in the garage, you don't have enough rods. Right? LOL.
