I actually wasn't trying to give him any crap, this time anyway, just passing along what it all meant. I must admit I have eaten the crow after finally admitting that flies are better than spoons!
Took me a while to change over to 95% (maybe more) streamers, best thing is boat speed is not a factor like it can be with spoons allowing you to cover more area in a shorter period of time. Not to mention they look a hell of allot more like natural food than spoons.
Biggest plus is I'm told little Salmon (yearlings) are not as apt to bite a streamer as quickly as they will a shiny spoon. I'll let you know this spring if we catch allot of yeralings (now 2 yr olds) that thankfully eluded us all last year ?
